Friday, December 1 Murphys holiday parade

Murphys kicks off the holiday season with a Main Street festival, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., which includes a 5:30 p.m. parade.  March with our Western Sierra Celtic Society in the downtown yuletide parade with many other community groups and Santa Claus.  Please bring a taper candle, with a paper cup to shield the flame from wind, for the evening march.  Club members are to assemble in the Murphys Creek Community Theater parking lot, 580 South Algiers Street, between 4 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.  Look for our club's parade banner in the parking lot.

Tuesday, December 12 Irish yuletide dinner

Instead of our usual monthly business meeting and cultural program, Murphys Irish Pub chef Jason Gill will create an Irish Christmas dinner for us and the general public, starting at 6 p.m. in the pub.  You don't need to order this special holiday dinner; just show up, have a pint, socialize with your fellow Celtic club members and encourage others to join our club that evening.  Dinner menu and price to be announced soon.
